KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Implementation of Epicor Kinetic or similar ERP
• Working knowledge of Epicor Kinetic
• Operational management of a manufacturing and/or service company
• Experience working in the electrical equipment industry
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration preferred
• Five years’ proven leadership experience
• Five years’ experience with Epicor and at least two years’ experience with Kinetic
• Operational experience in a manufacturing, service, and warehouse environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• This position operates in a professional office adjoining an active manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Use of standard office equipment is necessary, and the employee may need to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Operations Manager is a people leader with a background in finance and operations that will support an engineered electrical equipment manufacturing and service business. The initial focus will be the implementation of Epicor Kinetic, process development and documentation and a successful Go Live April 2026. Post implementation the individual will lead operations in the production of electrical equipment overseeing the safety, production and deployment of resources to meet customer needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform all duties in a safe manner and promotes “Safety First” mentality across team
• Supervise and coordinate the production activities of highly engineered electrical equipment
• Provide strong, dynamic leadership that mentors, develops, and guides team members to efficiently drive day-to-day operations within the business.
• Address and resolves constraints in manufacturing to allow for uninterrupted production flow Recommends measures to improve production methods equipment performance and quality of product
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments
• Manages employees in department to time estimates for each job and holds employees accountable for these times
• Lead the implementation of Epicor Kinetic
• Develop, document and conduct end user training for all users
• Support users post Go Live

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

• This role supervises production, assembly and field staff and is responsible for the overall success of the departments.
