Description

Job Location :- KSA/OMAN
The Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end operations of the manufacturing unit, ensuring optimal production output, quality control, workforce management, and compliance with safety and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in electronic manufacturing, industrial production, or transformer manufacturing, and demonstrate strong leadership in driving plant efficiency, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in electronics, transformers, or heavy electrical manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale plant operations with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, production planning, and quality control systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office.
  • Certification in Lean / Six Sigma / TPM preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Plan and monitor manufacturing schedules to meet production targets, delivery timelines, and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee manpower planning, shift scheduling, and staff performance management.
  • Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements across all operations.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of materials and parts.
  • Monitor and analyze key operational metrics (OEE, downtime, scrap rate, etc.) and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with R&D, design, and engineering teams for new product introductions (NPI) and technology upgrades.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, quality assurance, and cost control throughout the plant.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets and capital expenditures.
