About the Role As Operations Manager, you’ll be the primary contact for tenants, overseeing facilities, events, and relationships to ensure Waikato Innovation Park remains the region’s most sought-after place to do business. You’ll lead a cohesive operations team, manage leases, facilitate tenant moves, and drive community engagement through events and stakeholder relationships. Key responsibilities: Manage all lease documentation, tenancy schedules, and negotiations Build relationships with tenants and identify new development opportunities Host and manage events that promote community engagement and industry networking Lead health and safety culture, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation Participate in park development projects, including new buildings and master plan design Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and operating expenditure Supervise grounds and property maintenance staff, administer payroll, and maintain employment records Ensure facilities are attractive, functional, and compliant with standards Prepare operational board reports and communicate with shareholders About You We’re looking for someone who is: Collaborative, with a talent for building strong relationships Experienced in property or facilities management, real estate negotiation, or event management Skilled in financial and budget management, with strong commercial acumen Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities Customer-focused, diplomatic, and an excellent communicator Proficient with Microsoft Office, Xero, Mailchimp, and property management software Apply now and help Waikato Innovation Park continue to grow as a hub for innovation and collaboration!
