Description
Position Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for HR Administration, Bookkeeping, and overseeing the store’s physical plant. Provide leadership for staff working on multiple shifts in a retail environment. Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions • Keep all HR files, records, documentation, correspondence, and data current and in compliance (Personnel Files, HR Database, Employee Benefits and Payroll). • Responsible for appropriately documenting performance issues in an accurate and timely manner. • In collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, resolve employee issues and conduct unbiased investigations. • Frequent visits to the store floor to ensure connection with the realities of the business and model leadership behaviors throughout the organization. • Facilitate New Hire Orientations, Onboarding and Training. • Work with the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Product Department Leads to effectively meet operational goals. • Manage and submit staff payroll. • Manage all employee benefits and benefit enrollments. • Daily accounting: reconciliation, bank deposit, checks, vouchers. • Must be trustworthy, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality. • Administration: Paperwork for merchandise transfers, change orders, filing, mailing, ordering/receiving related supplies, maintain report logs, archive documents. • Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair needs of the building, its contents and systems in coordination with the Senior Facilities Manager. • Communicate with custodial service/staff to monitor cleanliness and condition of work areas, restrooms and all store fixtures.
