POSITION OVERVIEW

The Operations Manager F&B will be responsible for overseeing the performance, efficiency, and quality of food and beverage operations across OliOli® Group venues. This position plays a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by upholding brand standards, driving operational consistency, and leading high-performing teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in F&B operations, team management, and cost control.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business or any related field
  • Specialized certificates are preferred
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in F&B operations, including multi-unit management.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, reporting tools, and inventory software.
  • Willingness to travel between locations as needed.
  • Knowledge of GCC H&S laws and regulations
  • Ability to work productively with divergent opinions
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; demonstrated active listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adopt at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the café ensuring that customers are always provided with excellent level of service while making sure that the operations are profitable to the company.
  • Ensure consistency in service, quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Streamline daily operations to reduce bottlenecks and improve service delivery.
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering systems, and cost optimization.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Comply with all local health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor hygiene and cleanliness standards in the branches and upkeep of all service equipment as per companys standard.
  • Monitor KPIs and financial performance of each F&B outlet individually and collectively

Guest Satisfaction

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints about food quality and/or service by taking remedial actions immediately.
  • Ensure a consistently high standard of guest service by monitoring customer satisfaction metrics and implementing service recovery procedures.

Cross-department collaboration

  • Propose new menus for the café (in coordination with Marketing) within defined budgets, recommend selling price, rotate/change menus and introduce new products.
  • Oversee and execute F&B marketing strategies, including close collaboration with the Head of Marketing to implement both short and long-term strategies aligned with the revenue goals.
  • Connect the cafés products and services to the events and activations taking place in the building, collaborating with the Creative team and Guest Engagement team to accomplish this.

Team management:

  • Ensure staffing of required positions, monitor staff performance with emphasis on professional development to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently in compliance with established Hygiene & Safety Standards.
  • Lead, manage and inspire the team of servers, chefs, and team leaders across locations.
  • Provide a two way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
  • Oversee recruitment, training and development plans for F&B staff.

Operational excellency:

  • Monitor food quality, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with regulations
  • oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Establish and monitor targets, KPIs, schedules, and SOPs

Pre-opening responsibilities:

  • Supports in the generation of new ideas for service and products that will maintain a competitive and leading edge over our competitors
  • Actively contributes to the creation of venues bringing people together, generating connections that seal deals and embody truly interactive areas through branded F&B experiences
  • Lead the opening of new F&B locations from planning, hiring, designing to launch
  • Ensure teams are trained and ready for soft and grand openings
  • Champion a mindset of experimentation and innovation to stay on top of trends for current and future venues
