Your Opportunity: Drive Operational Excellence
As our Operations Manager for the Finishing and Machining departments, you will be pivotal in driving operational performance. You’ll lead the planning, organization, and direction of these departments, ensuring efficiency and quality in every process. Leadership experience in CNC Machining operations and the implementation of automation is preferred. The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $136,000.

• Direct daily operations in the Finishing and Machining departments to meet safety, cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Develop and mentor production supervisors and staff, managing performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Champion Lean manufacturing principles to optimize throughput, reduce waste, and enhance equipment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve production issues and support new product introductions.

• Agile Development: Your ideas will influence our future. You will implement process improvements, troubleshoot challenges, and provide crucial leadership and training to your team. You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve system malfunctions.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Experience & Education: While not required, the ideal candidate will possess a combination of a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of proven manufacturing leadership, a strong background in machining operations, and experience implementing automation.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You can investigate equipment failures, diagnose issues, and work with maintenance to implement timely solutions.
• Analytical Acumen: You can evaluate operational performance and departmental effectiveness using data-driven analysis.
• Communication Skills: You demonstrate strong communication and interaction skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), enabling you to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
