The Ranger Group have an amazing opportunity for an Operations Manager to join one of their acquisitions, Afil Ltd specialising in fire suppression. If you are dedicated, focussed and methodical this role would be ideal for you. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing and growing client relationships within the fire protection and suppression industry. This role involves strategic account management, sales development, and coordination with technical teams to deliver compliant and effective fire safety solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire suppression systems, industry regulations, and a proven track record in B2B sales.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Fire Protection, or related field would be desirable.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operations management or sales preferably within the fire protection or building services industry is essential.
• Familiarity with fire suppression systems and standards.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Technical understanding of fire suppression systems and components.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Simpro CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
