About the Role:
Atlantis Group is seeking a proactive and highly organized Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate key areas across planning, project execution, administration, and engineering operations. This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where agility, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication are critical. Atlantis Group includes divisions in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, and clean-tech, offering a unique and multidisciplinary operational landscape. This position will start on a part-time contractual basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent role based on performance and organizational needs.
You will support the CEO directly and work closely with engineering, finance, legal, and business development teams to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and execution of strategic initiatives—including planning support for investments, production scale-up, and R&D programs.
A key responsibility of this role will be closely involved in project planning and execution, providing oversight to ensure timely completion of initiatives across our aerospace and clean-tech divisions. The primary focus of this role is assisting with strong organizational leadership, communications, and effective management of resources (personnel, budgets, and time) to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage the full cycle of company projects—from planning and resource allocation to execution and delivery.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead and support project timelines, resource planning, and deliverables across multiple departments and company divisions.
  • Operational Oversight: Coordinate day-to-day operations across engineering, manufacturing, administration, and executive support functions.
  • Engineering Oversight: Provide alignment and oversight to engineering processes and teams; ensure outputs meet production and quality standards.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the CEO with administrative tasks, internal reporting, and follow-up on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Coordination with CFO & Legal: Support due diligence, compliance, and execution related to contracts, financial models, and investment activities.
  • Performance Tracking: Implement and monitor systems for project tracking, KPI dashboards, and milestone accountability.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Facilitate strong communication between engineering, operations, finance, and executive leadership.
  • Problem-Solving Under Pressure: Thrive in a high-demand environment where priorities shift and fast decision-making is key.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations, project management, and/or technical administration within a manufacturing, engineering, or cleantech environment.
  • Registered P.Eng in Alberta (or eligible for registration) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Post secondary education in engineering, business, or manufacturing.

Preferred Assets:

  • PMP certification or formal project management training.
  • P.Eng designations
  • Familiarity with project management systems, engineering workflows, and KPI tracking tools.
