Day time hours (08:00-16:00/09:00-17:00) Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead our Distribution Centre operations within the prestigious Selfridges site. This role will oversee the full breadth of DC activity, supporting both Retail and Online fulfilment to ensure exceptional service delivery, operational excellence, and seamless stock flow across a fast‑paced, premium environment ✅WHAT YOU'LL DO Operate within agreed budgetary parameters to fulfil customer requirements and deliver planned outcomes Undertake the recruitment, training, development, and deployment of staff, while fostering cohesive and effective working relationships Manage colleague absence, performance, and conduct, ensuring consistent application of organisational standards and processes Administer disciplinary and grievance matters in accordance with established HR policies and procedures Ensure full compliance with all health and safety policies and actively promote a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion Monitor, review, and report on operational performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, ensuring continuous alignment with business objectives Maintain professional communication with customers, both in writing and verbally, and deliver project management activities as required Drive a culture of continuous improvement within operations and support the effective application of OMS methodologies ✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO Previous Operational experience within an E-commerce sector/environment, at Operations Manager level is essential Proven organisational abilities, efficiently coordinating multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills at all levels - Verbal and written Capability of deploying strategic plans for the operation Strong level of literacy, numeracy and IT skills Knowledge or use of Blue Yonder WMS would be desirable Ability to work with limited supervision Strong interpersonal skills and able to challenge in the right way ✅WHY JOIN US?
