Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize daily shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer demands.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery speed.
• Manage and mentor a team of shipping associates, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers to negotiate favorable rates and service agreements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in shipping and logistics operations, preferably within the [specific industry, e.g., e-commerce, manufacturing] sector.
• Proven track record of managing and developing teams, with strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Expertise in transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).

·        UAE (Dubai) shipping industry experience is mandatory.

·        Strong experience in freight forwarding, import/export operations, and NVOCC.

·        Must be capable of independently handling shipping operations.

• Nationality: Indian candidates only.

·        Salary budget: Up to AED 6,000 per month. We are also open to candidates with lower salary expectations, provided they meet the required experience and skill set.
