Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities To lead the Operation team for overall production delivery of Roadm products. To supervise and maintain production line in proper order, following procedures and control plan all the time. To execute production build plans & activities according to timeline. To participate to continuously monitor and improve the product line processes & quality. To provide the necessary support and coordination to pilot build of new products for timely completion. Identify, quantify and report any quality problem with materials and / or processes for seeking solution from the team. To drive relevant counterparts (e.g. Main Store, Finished Good & etc) for timely kitting and completion of jobs against customer delivery schedule. Education & Experience A Degree in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management or its equivalents with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in high volume high mix production environment managing production. Skills Leadership capabilities to manage an engineering, production & support teams. Possess strong communication & interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving. Work effectively with other members of Coherent. Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools is a bonus. Experience working on lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects is a bonus.
