JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an operations Manager to oversee and enhance our operational processes. We manufacture and install bespoke stone worktops and other interior stone products in both domestic and commercial properties. Our scope of works ranges from single kitchen worktop installations in domestic properties, both locally and regionally, up to large scale installations on commercial projects across the country. The ideal candidate will possess strong logical skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organisation. You will also require time served skills and experience in our industry OR experience of an equivalent role in a similar relevant industry. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage teams, streamline operations, and ensure that our objectives are met efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in an operations management role in a similar industry
  • Strong logical, multi-tasking and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism in all interactions.
  • Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Communicate and liase between our sales, manufacturing and installations teams to deliver an efficient and high quality service to our customers.
  • Oversee daily operations including comunicating with customers, scheduling and re-scheduling our manufacturing and installations programme, ordering materials and supplies, ensuring quality of product delivery.
  • Facilitate data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of operational activities.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance for senior management review.
  • Assist practically with logistics when necesary.
