Description
We are looking for an Inbound/Inventory Manager who is efficient in handling the warehouse's products and supplies. Day-to-day responsibilities: Monitor inbound activities, coordinate with merchandising for any deviation delivery from supplier vs PO Ensure timely receiving of stocks to put-away Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity Manage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis Lead others in safe work practices, especially when in a distribution center environment Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders Place and receive orders in a timely and accurate manner Coordinate with Merchandising for RTV, near expiry, damaged and expired items Coordinate with customer service and logistics departments Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed Perform process and system testing and track performance by area to locate and solve problems in data integrity, productivity, and efficiency Conduct training to newly onboard personnel Directly reports to the Senior Operations Manager Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 3 years of experience in a distribution, warehousing, or logistics environment At least 2 years of experience with distribution product flow At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership. Excellent writing and communication skills Excellent with Microsoft Office Program and Windows Effective communicator and mediator Excellent interpersonal skills Proactive and committed to finding solutions. Well organized with effective and efficient working style Analytical and synthetic. Able to work independently towards targets and planning
Responsibilities
The Operations Manager will monitor inbound activities and ensure timely receiving of stocks while maintaining adequate inventory levels. They will also investigate discrepancies and lead safe work practices in the warehouse environment.
