Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a proven track record in the FMCG industry to oversee and optimize our operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in operations management, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Expertise in supply chain and inventory management.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and operational tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of FMCG market trends, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive growth in the FMCG sector.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain process, including procurement, production, inventory, and distribution, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) and implement solutions to achieve targets across production, logistics, and customer service.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control protocols.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage operational budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in operations and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth operations and competitive pricing.
