POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a hands-on, people-first Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and champion our core values: Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, and Value. This role is key to driving profitability, fostering team accountability, and executing continuous improvement efforts across the shop floor and beyond. This person will be responsible for and accountable for the operating profitability of the business.
The right candidate blends strong leadership with operational expertise—capable of coaching teams, resolving challenges, and aligning daily execution with strategic goals. You’ll work closely with the President to ensure performance expectations are met and exceeded.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing.
  • Proven success in coaching teams and improving performance.
  • Strong background in lean/process improvement and accountability management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop operations staff to achieve high performance.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Set performance expectations and hold individuals accountable.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align execution with business goals.
  • Represent the company in key customer meetings and build relationships.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and accounts payable items.
  • Track KPIs and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
