OPERATIONS MANAGER – WITH RETAIL AND CORPORATE SECURITY EXPERIENCE

Due to the current expansion within the company, Interr is recruiting an Operations Manager to work with our operations team in the Republic of Ireland.
This is a full-time permanent position and will require travel anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.
This position will report directly to the Operations Client Director and work closely alongside our Client Managers, Control Room, Clients, Employees, Finance and HR teams.
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of a select number of retail and corporate client contracts whilst managing and supporting all security officers and staff under your remit.
Your focus in this important role will be to maintain client relationships and operations, deliver on all operational requirements and requests from other line managers/supervisors and assist and support any business development opportunities.
Day to Day Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
· Ensure our client’s sites are always fully manned.
· Attend client meetings and site visits.
· Manage new contract set ups, KPI, Site Assignment Instructions, general reporting, conducting Site Surveys and Risk Assessment reports.
· Managing the recruitment process for security including assessing CVs, holding interviews, and ensuring new starter paperwork and company induction is completed before deployment.
· Completion of site training and the appraisal process for security personnel.
· Make necessary decisions with regards to the implementation of good security practice and advise management and staff accordingly.
· Ensure all site documentation and procedures are maintained and kept up to date.
· To play a proactive part in the control of employee turnover.
· Work alongside the Finance and HR teams regarding any pay, holiday, or staffing issues.
· Performance management, uniform allocations and distribution.
· To be a key contact for daily operational and health and safety issues across a select client portfolio.
· Maintain regular communication between the Control Room and Client Operations team.
· Ensure all client manager duties and documentation is completed and maintained in line with company standards.
· Ensure a high level of professionalism and customer service is always delivered.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Valid PSA licence.
· Valid Driving Licence (as you will be required to travel to various sites).
· Experience in a similar role or experience of managing various client portfolios within retail.
· Experience of working within a retail and corporate environment at managerial level for at least 2 years.
· Flexibility and adaptability with your time and daily tasks.
· Customer service approach with a desire to supply excellent customer service.
· Ability to work under pressure and to manage a busy workload.
· Strong attention to detail and administrative skills.
· Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
· Knowledge of computer programs (MS Office).
· Security experience/knowledge.
