Description

TYPE: PERMANENT

We are looking for somebody that is passionate about Operations and Health and Safety. You will play an instrumental role in ensuring the safety of employees in the workplace and the efficient, safe operation of our warehouse. The role is crucial in safeguarding employees at work.
Utilising your expertise, you will manage workplace risks and ensure compliance with current safety standards. Your responsibilities include planning and implementing new policies and procedures to enhance or maintain safety standards, monitoring their effectiveness, and introducing new protective measures as required by law or the organisation. You will develop health and safety strategies, conduct risk assessments, liaise with regulatory authorities, investigate site accidents, and ensure policies and procedures are properly implemented through site inspections. The Operations Manger will also have full responsibility for the warehouse operation to drive efficiency and improve standards.
