ROLE OVERVIEW

Leadership and management of the Operations Team to achieve our business goals and objectives on continuous basis, always seeking and implementing ways to improve. Promoting Teamwork and close collaboration across the departments and our people. Lead Operations Team performance reviews and improvement, Planning and reacting to forecasted demand. Key to driving up and sustaining standards of work across the team. Coach, develop and performance manage the team to deliver their goals and objectives. Ensure the wider Operations team are well led, motivated and engaged to deliver best value and service for our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall responsibility for production, warehouse, maintenance, hygiene, planning, label room
• Coaching and development of the Team members.
• Drive performance of the team and lines to maximise safety/efficiency/quality/compliance
• Excellent communication with team to set goals and targets on a continuous basis.
• Working cross functionally set the standards for the site across all areas of responsibility
• Design and rollout the process and procedures required to maintain site standards.
• Continuously improve to optimise ways of working, material flows, reduce waste, reduce cost and improve service
• Set the culture by ensuring individuals and teams live the company values.
• Ensure adequate process in place to review and mitigate risks in relation to long term labour requirement, storage and machine capacity.
• To actively promote health & safety standards, engage in implementing health and safety protocols, and contribute to a risk-free work environment for all, playing a crucial role in mitigating workplace risks and promoting the well-being of all team members.
