Operations Manager | Metroll Perth Lead. Transform. Deliver. Metroll Perth is seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to lead and optimise our manufacturing and transport operations across two sites in a fast-paced production environment. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for end-to-end operations, including manufacturing, warehousing, transport, safety, financial performance, and continuous improvement. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and service performance across the business. You’ll lead high-performing teams across both sites, ensuring strong execution, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement while delivering outstanding customer outcomes. What You’ll Be Responsible For Leading and overseeing manufacturing, warehouse, and transport operations across two sites Managing operational performance, workforce planning, and workflow optimisation Full responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning and control Driving operational cost efficiency and identifying productivity improvement opportunities Leading safety culture with a clear focus on achieving zero lost time injuries Delivering DIFOT targets of 100% through strong planning and execution Managing production performance, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives Implementing lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency Driving material usage accuracy and minimising scrap and waste across operations Leading, coaching, and developing operational leaders and frontline teams Managing plant, equipment, and maintenance planning to maximise uptime Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Ensuring compliance with all operational, safety, and quality standards What We’re Looking For Proven senior leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, transport, or industrial operations Experience managing multi-site or complex operational environments Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX management Demonstrated success in driving safety performance and operational excellence Strong understanding of production systems, supply chain, and dispatch operations Hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage teams at all levels Strong capability in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills Why Join Metroll?
