Operations Manager - Laverton

We're transforming the future of temperature-controlled logistics - and people are at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to grow and innovate, we're looking for an exceptional Operations Manager to help guide our Laverton site with a relentless commitment to safety, people development and operational excellence.

In this pivotal leadership role, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end performance of one of our key Victorian facilities. You will bring clarity, energy and purpose to your teams, ensuring the site operates safely, compliantly and profitably while delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Key Focus Areas

• Set and model the standard for visible safety leadership, making safety a non-negotiable part of how work gets done.
• Create an environment where people feel engaged, motivated and supported to perform at their best.
• Inspire and develop Shift Managers, Team Managers and frontline teams through coaching, setting clear expectations and having regular development conversations.
• Support continuous improvement across systems, processes and workflows so tasks become safer, easier and more efficient.
• Ensure the smooth running of a multi-temperature operation to meet service delivery targets across a fast-paced, 24/7 retail logistics environment.
• Oversee labour, equipment, budgets and KPIs with strong commercial acumen.
• Develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with FSANZ, HACCP, CoR and all safety, quality and legal requirements.

• Extensive experience leading large teams in logistics, retail distribution or FMCG.
• Capability credentials in multi-temperature operations and warehouse/transport interfaces.
• A proven record of improving culture, safety outcomes and engagement.
• The confidence to step forward, address difficult issues and champion new ways of working.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for developing teams to have a positive identity, shared purpose and pride in their work.
