The Operations Manager is responsible for leading both warehouse and transport operations to ensure safe, cost-effective performance while delivering high service outcomes for customers. The role has accountability for safety, compliance, operational performance, customer relationships and continuous improvement. Key areas:

• Lead site warehouse and transport operations in a safe, compliant and cost-effective manner.
• Support and implement Linfox Safety Standards through consultation, communication and active leadership.
• Monitor health and safety performance, including risk management, audits, worksite visits and incident reporting.
• Deliver operational and financial performance by reviewing costs, margins, revenue and agreed KPIs.
• Lead and develop teams to meet performance targets and foster a cooperative, team-based culture.
• Build strong internal and external customer relationships while supporting accurate and timely reporting.

Are you the one?

You are an experienced operations leader with a strong safety and compliance focus and the ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced logistics or transport environment. You bring commercial acumen, operational discipline and a continuous improvement mindset. You can demonstrate:

• Experience leading road and/or rail transport and warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of contemporary business and operations management practices.
• Capability to lead, develop and motivate teams of 5+ direct reports.
• Understanding of financial drivers, costs and margin management.
• Experience using WMS and SAP systems (preferred).
• Eligibility to hold a current valid NSW driver licence, with HRW (Forklift) licence desirable.
