KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years’ experience in retail, operations, or area management (multi-site preferred)
  • Proven expertise in finance, budgets, and cost management
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (reporting, analysis, modelling)
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and staff management
  • Experience implementing policies, processes, and procedures in a start-up or scaling business
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, campaigns, and new store openings
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management, with experience liaising with senior leadership, vendors, and partners

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing retail and e-commerce business. This role combines strategic operations leadership with hands-on area management, making it ideal for a highly skilled professional with 10+ years in retail, operations, and business management.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in finance, budgeting, and cost control, coupled with excellent administrative and Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel). They will also have experience in implementing policies and procedures within a start-up or scaling business, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
This is a pivotal role, working closely with the CEO across all areas of the business, including finance, procurement, HR, retail operations, and e-commerce.
