Mallory Alexander International Logistics, a global third-party logistics company (3PL) headquartered in Memphis, TN has an immediate opening for a Logistics Professional to join our team! The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees the entire distribution plan, managing warehouse operations to ensure efficiency in dispatching, storing, and handling products. Key Responsibilities Manage Warehouse Operations: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures. Forecasting and Planning: Project product volume and create schedules for pick-up and drop-off to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Process Improvement: Analyze current processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and implement strategies to optimize stock management. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3-5 years of proven experience in warehouse management or operations, with a strong understanding of inventory management and logistics. Strong leadership abilities to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software. Shift: First Shift, Monday Through Friday. Working Environment: Duties regularly require employee to stand, walk, and reach with hands, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
