Description:
Marshall Canada requires an Operations Manager in Moncton, NB to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Operations - Canada, the Operations Manger will lead all operation aspects of the Land Assembly facility in Canada. Working in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team (Canada) and Sales Executives to ensure the facility has the capability to support the North American Land sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:
- Lead accountability for meeting production output and production quality targets as per contract requirements.
- Supervise all manufacturing departments, in coordination with functional leads where appropriate, including production Planning, Assembly, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and Logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and zone-specific safety rules, QMS protocols, and Product Handling / Product Integrity measures.
- Ensure adherence to, and focus on continuous improvement, LEAN manufacturing, and visual management principles.
- Ensure manufacturing personnel work in compliance with Marshall’s production work procedures and work instructions.
- Identify resourcing requirements and hire new staff members in collaboration with onsite and corporate Human Resources team.
- Maintain a staffing schedule for production personnel, including managing overtime, vacation scheduling, and absences.
- Maintain a training program for all production staff for manufacturing skill and product related assembly and test competencies.
- Maintain career progression pathways for staff, progression opportunities, and a mentoring program for emerging leaders from within the production team.
- Deliver KPI, forecasts, and production reports to senior management to optimize efficiency.
- Lead and promote Marshall core values through communication and leading by example.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on process change, process improvement, new product introduction, and CAPEX requirements.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on departmental budgeting and CAPEX planning; growth strategies; and continuous improvement.
- Deliver operational excellence on time, and according to budgetary and quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with technical and functional partners. Propose and support implementation of physical development of the facility and property.
- Optimize production strategies through digital & IT transformation, data analytics and application of best practices and lessons learned.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in resource and capacity planning to optimize efficiency and best practice.
- Partner with engineering and project management partners to ensure seamless delivery of program requirements.
- Engage with Quality and Supply Chain to ensure maximum support and standards met within production.
- Utilize engineering and production expertise to contribute to the commercial success of all programs.
- Other duties as allocated by Director, Operations (Marshall Canada).
