Responsibilities

At JD Sports, we strive for operational best practice. As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high standard of efficiency and compliance across all store operations, processes and tasks. You will apply a solution-focused mindset and support the Store Manager by actioning admin tasks associated with profit protection and stock movement activities, creating daily schedules and task lists, and managing cash handling procedures.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Support the Store Manager to oversee operational efficiency and compliance in-store
  • In collaboration with Store Manager, review and improve store operational processes to maximise productivity and sales
  • Assist the Store Manager to coach and develop the team in operational processes
  • Manage cash handling and administration responsibilities in line with company compliance
  • Work closely with the Store and Assistant Store Manager to manage all end of month processes .
