Description Position Summary Lead a team of 40+ production employees at the Statesville plant to deliver high-quality products safely, on schedule, and at competitive costs. This is a 24/5 operation with occasional Saturday production. Collaborate with safety, quality, materials, maintenance, and HR teams to optimize processes. Drive execution of established metrics through effective leadership and operational discipline. Key Responsibilities Leadership · Build strong relationships and align team to plant vision. · Set goals, manage performance, and develop talent. · Foster a culture of trust, integrity, and accountability. · Conduct weekly one-on-ones and mentor supervisors to become effective leaders. Operations · Ensure safe work environment and compliance with environmental standards. · Maintain product quality per ASTM and industry standards. · Oversee production processes and resolve issues promptly. · Implement daily management routines (MDI) and cross-functional meetings. · Drive plant strategy, budget planning, and productivity improvements. · Manage staffing, turnover, and resource planning in coordination with HR. · Own KPIs for safety, quality, schedule adherence, overtime, and consumables budget. · Report performance to senior leadership. Requirements Qualifications · Minimum 6 years in production or manufacturing operations. · Proven experience managing large teams (75+ preferred). · Strong knowledge of quality standards, safety regulations, and lean principles (Kaizen, Six Sigma). · Skilled in performance evaluation, budgeting, and reporting. · Proficient in MS Office; excellent organizational and communication skills. · Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred.
