JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN OPERATIONS MANAGER AT BRIDGES JUVENILE CRISIS & ASSESSMENT CENTER IN WINSTON-SALEM, NC

Operated by Methodist Home for Children in partnership with the Department of Public Safety, the Western Area Juvenile Crisis and Assessment Center provides comprehensive juvenile assessments in a residential setting. Our goal is to match youth to the most appropriate services in their community. Serving Level II offenders aged 10 to 17, the Center offers a critical resource for youth in need.

ARE YOU QUALIFIED?

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (preferred in a human services field).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with client populations.
  • Previous supervisory experience with child-care workers preferred.
  • Direct care experience with adolescents and their families is highly valued.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background, driving, and substance screenings.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Operations Manager for our Bridges Juvenile Crisis & Assessment Center. This vital role oversees the administration and supervision of program operations, ensuring quality care and support for the youth we serve. Boys and girls referred by juvenile court counselors stay at the Center for 14 to 30 days for comprehensive testing and observation under the guidance of a licensed psychologist and clinical case managers. They leave with a tailored plan of care, designed to address their strengths and needs, and connect them to services such as therapy, substance abuse counseling, educational or vocational training, and more.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise programmatic operations of the Center.
  • Manage the Center’s budget, staff, and delivery of program services.
  • Coordinate volunteers and maintain relationships with service professionals, clients and their families, and the local community.
