Are you an experienced leader ready to take charge and drive operational excellence? Join our team at Mitre 10 Mega Rotorua as an Operations Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless store operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As our Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing key store functions, including inwards goods, stock integrity, loss prevention, and customer experience. You’ll collaborate closely with the Store Manager to optimise efficiency, drive profitability, and uphold the highest standards of service.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Full-time (40 hours per week), including one weekend day.
  • Reports directly to the Store Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Managing store, vehicle, and equipment maintenance programmes, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with the Store Manager to enhance operational procedures and store performance.
  • Implementing strict controls to minimise expenditure and maximise financial efficiency.
  • Supporting team leadership, training, recruitment, and performance management to build a strong, high-performing team.
  • Driving a health and safety-focused culture, leading compliance efforts, and ensuring store security.
  • Overseeing marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to engage customers and grow the business.
  • Managing fleet operations, contractor safety processes, site audits, and compliance programmes.
