OPERATIONS MANAGER (ASSISTANT CAPTAIN) - MOXY LONDON EXCEL

This position is based on a full time contract.
Gross salary - £competitive
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just manage from behind a screen. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll live and breathe the MOXY vibe — rolling up your sleeves, jumping on the floor with your team, and setting the pace from the front. USEFUL EXPERIENCE

  • Must have minimum 2 years hotel management experience
  • Must have minimum 2 years team management
  • Must have property management system (preferably Opera) experience
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale system (preferably Micros)
  • Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
  • Knowledge of maintaining brand standards
  • Event management, marketing or social media experience
  • Personal experience of travel and travel industry
Responsibilities
  • Supports the General Manager in all aspects of the management of the hotel
  • Customer service, guest relations and creating positive guest experiences
  • Recruits and develops a team that delivers excellent service the Moxy way
  • Ensure a profitable hotel operation in line with company goals
  • Manage the team effectively and enforce company policies
  • Actively involved in the day to day tasks of the team
  • Strong Food & Beverage background — you know the ins and outs of running an F&B operation.
  • Managing Food & Beverage outlets the Moxy way
  • Manage hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out the Moxy way
  • Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely
  • Promote and support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program
