We're looking for an experienced and goal-oriented Operations Manager to establish and oversee our group's business operations in Norway. You will report directly to the Country Lead Manager, and play a key role in the Norway market. Role Description As an Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for developing, launching, and growing our business in Norway. Because Norway is a brand-new market for us, the role includes hands-on work in launching operations: supporting early-stage setup, communicating with authorities, and helping move permit and regulatory processes forward. We will provide all core documentation and content for these discussions but we rely on your understanding of the market and local networks to get things off the ground. You'll act as the link between group leadership and the local Norway market, ensuring that operations become profitable, efficient, and compliant. Your Key Responsibilities Establishing and managing all gold-purchasing operations in Norway Acting as the main point of contact for local subcontractors and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations Supporting recruitment and onboarding of local team members as the business grows Removing operational bottlenecks and enabling the success of local teams Expanding purchasing operations and growing market share Monitoring market developments to maintain competitiveness Ensuring legal compliance and adherence to internal group processes Reporting performance and progress to group operations leadership What We Expect from You Proven experience in organizational leadership and strong interpersonal skills Solid business understanding and operational competence Strong ties to Norway and a deep understanding of the local market Native proficiency in Norwegian required Willingness to travel within Norway when needed Ability to operate in a fast-moving and regulated business environment Comfort working in an early-stage market where initial setup and regulatory work are part of the role Hands-on mindset and strong sense of ownership What We Offer A responsible and versatile role within an international group A rare opportunity to build operations in Norway Opportunities for professional growth Flexible hybrid work model A comfortable and welcoming office in Käpylä, Helsinki.
