Olympus Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee IT operations, systems administration, and infrastructure management in support of Federal Student Aid (FSA). The Operations Manager will be responsible for administering applications, operating systems, network components, and cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity across enterprise IAM systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in AWS GovCloud, ITIL, and Agile practices, as well as leadership in managing multi-discipline IT environments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of experience in IT operations management.
• Strong technical understanding of Information Technology, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and AWS GovCloud systems/services.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
• Proficiency in ITIL Foundation practices and managing agile development teams.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale, highly available enterprise systems.
• Expert knowledge of recent advances in computer science and engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior government officials.
• Proven ability to manage diverse IT operations teams, including integration, deployment, and training activities.
• Must have and maintain a Public Trust (Tier 4/6c) clearance.

• Administer, design, implement, and support IT operations including applications, operating systems, network components, and VMware environments.
• Evaluate and monitor system performance daily to ensure optimal response times for production applications.
• Establish procedures to safeguard data integrity, including system failover, backup, and recovery processes.
• Acquire, configure, and maintain servers for development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement and manage software updates, new system structures, and server usage tracking to maintain uptime and availability.
• Oversee performance tuning, uptime monitoring, failover, antivirus, and anti-spam protections.
• Plan, implement, and optimize servers and networks to support high-performance business applications.
• Set up and maintain cloud environments (public and private), deploying workloads in automated ways and monitoring per established standards.
• Establish and enforce cloud operations standards and parameters.
• Provide leadership and supervision of IT operations teams across diverse platforms and skill categories.
• Manage large-scale, highly available enterprise systems integrated with mission-critical applications.
