ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a leading provider within the commercial cleaning sector, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. This is a key leadership role that requires a hands-on approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage both people and operations effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily operations to ensure all client sites are serviced to the highest standards.
• Manage and motivate a team of site supervisors, cleaning operatives, and support staff.
• Conduct regular site audits and inspections, addressing issues proactively.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the first point of contact for operational matters.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, COSHH, and company procedures.
• Manage budgets, stock, and equipment allocation efficiently.
• Recruit, train, and support staff to deliver consistent service excellence.
• Report regularly to senior management on performance, KPIs, and improvement opportunities.
