Responsibilities

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Day to day leadership of the patient catering team.
  • Process and procedural execution within the hospital patient catering services.
  • To recruit, train, continually develop and motivate staff in such areas as Health & Safety, dangerous equipment, basic food hygiene, pick pack and delivery of an a la carte patient meal service and any other areas which may be necessary.
  • Maintain all records in line with legislation and company policy.
  • Develop and maintain process trackers and accurate billing procedures that are fully auditable.
  • Deal with disciplinary and grievance issues consistently, fairly and in line with company policy.
  • Ensure compliance at all times, with legal requirements such as Health & Safety at Work, display of all necessary notices, accident reporting and first aid
