Responsibilities Operations & Supply Chain Management Translate the strategies into local operational annual and mid-term requirements for facilities, equipment, processes, services, people, and skills Apply level production strategy in plant at or below budgeted production costs to meet marketplace demand Lead and supervise the daily activities which includes Safety, Quality, Demand Planning, Materials Planning and purchasing, Production and Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, and other functions in ANZ in order to drive consistent revenue growth Monitors and takes overall responsibility for key performance metrics like safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, people development and continuous Improvement etc... Actively contributes to the APAC Regional SIOP process by facilitating the demand planning activities as part of the monthly review cycles Work with materials planning and purchasing team to manage our supply planning in an effective and timely way Work with marketing to manage product breadth, product life cycles, and a robust phase-in/phase out (PIPO) management process; other important MSA initiatives so as to effectively drive the reduction of slow-moving inventory YoY Effectively manage inventory to be a reasonable level in terms of both business goal/forecast and inventory budget Utilizing the MSA Business System(MBS) framework, tools and behavioral elements to help guide developing plans as well as execution. Leverage the MBS to monitor KPIs at appropriate cadences and engage OpEx teams in problem solving to achieve results. Hold regular staff meetings, extended staff events, training sessions, and other forums as needed to promote transparency and more fully engage associates at all levels of MSA Provide feedback, identify improvement opportunities, clarify and generally interact with all regions and functions of MSA to facilitate superior business performance. Promote cross-functional outreach communications. Other duties assigned from supervisor Order Fulfillment & the 3PL Management Manage 3PL logistics partner to ensure its performance meets the Statement of Work and KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost) as stated in contractual agreement documents. Work with 3PL logistics and freight partners to understand current costs structure and drive partners for their continuous improvement effort to provide warehousing, logistics and freight solutions to improve speed, efficiency and cost effectiveness. Analyze SKUs; identify slow moving products; reduce pallet space at 3PL by consolidation & rationalization process with disposition plan. Support and participate in change management of process in delivery classification, delivery management and customer expectations. Define, develop and document systems, processes and procedures to ensure that queries meet specified requirements enforcing quality in reports Identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement in logistics area by deploying and leveraging MSA operating system Commercial Support Preparation, submission and maintenance of quotations, major tenders and resulting contracts, in accordance with ISO9001. Arrange and attend tender and contract review meetings where appropriate. Liaise with relevant distributors regarding quotes/tenders/contracts. Actively participate in the management of key customers by working with commercial team Participate and provide support in customer negotiations as required; Support customer on-site audit Other necessary support required from business leaders People Management & Others Work with Human Resources to hire for success, promotability and overall alignment with MSA’s business needs Build the breadth and depth of the Operational Excellence management team and develop best-in-class competencies and skills; Work with Human Resources on performance planning, development activities, succession planning, and in situations where performance improvement is needed. Regularly interact and collaborate with the business and functional leaders to foster effective communication and integration, facilitate teamwork, and align resources to ensure focus on accomplishment of our goals; Actively engage in coaching to address both strengths and weaknesses of individuals within the team. Focus on people, processes, metrics, control mechanisms, accountability, and results to achieve operational excellence Plan & conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports; Ensure team to comply with company’s policy and regulations Acting as a back up to the team if needed Kinds of reports preparation per the request from management team Qualifications Minimum 10 years experience which includes 3+ years managerial experience Bachelor+ degree Demonstrated change management experience Strong problem solving capability Ability to work and maintain high performance expectations in high-pressure environment. Strong SAP knowledge in MM, PP, SD module Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to persuade and influence others.
