Description
The price of gold has tripled over the past ten years, and during that time, Kultakiertue has become the leading player in its field in Finland. How would you like to play a critical role in expanding a rapidly growing local success story into Poland? At Kultakiertue, we are the market leader and pioneers in the purchase and appraisal of precious metals - especially gold and silver. Our safe, reliable, and above all, customer-centric service model is now expanding across the Nordic region and, later this year, into the rest of Europe. Over 100 professionals already work with our unique service concept, and our growth continues to accelerate - making this the perfect time to jump on board. So, hey you - Polish-speaking professional! We need you in Helsinki. We’re looking for an experienced and goal-oriented Operations Manager to establish and oversee our group’s business operations in Poland. You’ll be based in Helsinki and report directly to the Head of Country Operations. Role Description As the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and growing our business in Poland. Because Poland is a brand-new market for us, the role includes hands-on work in launching the business: supporting early-stage setup, communicating with authorities, and helping move permit and regulatory processes forward. We’ll provide all the core documentation and content for these discussions - but we rely on your Polish language skills and local understanding to get things off the ground. You’ll act as the link between the group and the local market, ensuring that operations become profitable, efficient, and compliant. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include Establishing and managing all gold-purchasing operations in Poland Acting as the main point of contact for local subcontractors and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations Supporting the market launch by interfacing with authorities regarding permits, registrations, and compliance Removing operational bottlenecks and enabling the success of the local teams Expanding purchasing operations and growing market share Monitoring market developments to maintain competitiveness Ensuring legal compliance and adherence to internal group processes Reporting performance and progress to group operations leadership What We Expect from You Proven experience in organizational leadership and strong interpersonal skills Solid business understanding and operational competence Willingness to travel to Poland when needed Native-level Polish language skills; Finnish skills are considered an advantage Ability to operate in a fast-moving and regulated business environment Comfort working in an early-stage market where initial setup and regulatory work are part of the role What We Offer A responsible and versatile role within an international group A rare opportunity to build and launch operations in a new market The support of a close-knit and skilled organization based in Helsinki A competitive fixed monthly salary combined with a performance-based commission model that offers significant earning potential (salary range: €4,000–€5,500, depending on experience and results) Excellent employment benefits and opportunities for professional growth
