The Operations Manager – Portable Ready-Mix Division is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of portable concrete plant operations. This includes managing site setup and takedown, coordinating logistics, supervising personnel, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the division operates efficiently, safely, and profitably while delivering high-quality concrete to remote and mobile project sites.
This role requires strong operational planning, leadership, and communication skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of concrete production, batch plant operations, and mobile project logistics. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to continuous improvement.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all portable Ready-mix plants across various locations.
• Lead plant mobilization, setup, and demobilization activities, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient transitions.
• Manage personnel scheduling, training, and performance to ensure productivity and safety.
• Monitor and ensure quality control of concrete production to meet project specifications.
• Coordinate with dispatch, trucking, and material suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain and delivery.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local safety, environmental, and labor regulations.
• Track operational KPIs, control costs, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project managers, contractors, and field crews.
• Support strategic planning and growth of the division, identifying new opportunities and innovations.
