Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe working practices are adhered to, promote safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis
  • Support labour resources to meet workload forecasts and the department budget on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
  • Build and promote a team environment focused on working collaboratively to achieve team and SC objectives
  • Lead, motivate and engage staff through the use of effective people management processes and practices, building their capability to achieve team and individual objectives
  • Use effective communication techniques which encourage open and honest communications and constant information flow
  • Implement continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Understand and adhere to all relevant Company policies and procedures and promote the same amongst teams
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop the functionality of ‘live’ fleet allocation for use within the direct business
  • Complywith all HSE legislation.
  • Complete reports and adhere to budgets as directed
  • Manage staff including mentoring, disciplinary processes and any grievance in line with Company standards
  • Provide a high level of customer service at all times when dealing with office staff, internal customers and clients while pro-actively representing the company
  • Work within Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations in all areas of role
  • Demonstrate inclusive behavior and show respect for diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives
