Are you an accomplished Red Seal Chef ready to take the next step toward hotel and restaurant ownership, with the right partners by your side?
The historic Queens Hotel in Fort Macleod, Alberta, is undergoing a transformative restoration, breathing new life into one of the town’s most iconic buildings. While we engage in this project, we have a unique and rare opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our leadership team.
Established in 1903, the historic Queens Hotel on Main Street in Fort Macleod is currently undergoing a transformation to become the town’s first boutique hotel. The spirit of Fort Macleod’s early days will be thoughtfully woven into every detail, from décor to the warmth of our service. Here, guests won’t just enjoy a meal or a place to stay, they will experience a meaningful journey into the heart of the community’s heritage. Once completed, the property will feature 14 elegant guest rooms, along with a stylish 70-seat full-service restaurant and lounge offering one of southern Alberta’s finest and most authentic dining experiences.
This is more than just a job – it’s a unique partnership opportunity for the right candidate. While there is no fixed date for the role, finding the right candidate early will allow them to be actively involved in menu development and staff recruitment, playing a key role in shaping the hotel’s future. The successful candidate can expect to earn a wage of $100,000-$120,000 annually.
