REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior management role within FM, Cleaning, or Grounds Maintenance
  • Previous experience working with Housing Associations (preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
  • BICS or BALI certification (advantageous)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required)
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and results-driven
  • Residing within or close to the London region (preferred)
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee cleaning and grounds maintenance contracts across London and the southern regions. You will manage multiple client relationships and a team of 5–8 contracts managers and their teams. This is a role that requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and support regional teams delivering cleaning and grounds maintenance
  • Ensure services meet or exceed client expectations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Lead on recruitment, training, and development
  • Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and compliance
  • Drive service improvements and identify efficiency opportunities
