This is a versatile position that blends day-to-day operations coordination, field delivery and installation, and workshop-based equipment maintenance ensuring our hire equipment is ready, safely deployed, and efficiently managed. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all operations personnel including Schedulers, Supervisor, Drivers, and Labourers; across recruitment, training, performance management, and resource scheduling
- Oversee the safety of the staff, ensuring safety processes are followed and providing feedback and working with the HSEQ Manager.
- Conduct Toolbox Meetings, record minutes, and assign tasks accordingly.
- Oversee the movement and allocation of RPM equipment, supporting operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and cross-hire partners.
- Monitor and report NPS (Net Promoter Score), escalating concerns to the COO.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to improve productivity and service standards.
- Own state P&L and drive cost discipline across depot operations.
- Review and enhance processes, policies, and systems to optimize performance.
- Manage interstate stock transfers, including journey planning and compliance with safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the workshop and Scheduler to prioritize equipment repairs and manage customer chargebacks.
- Oversee Sales to Operations integration, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Setting and holding staff to high performance standards throughout the operations team and the yard.
- Strengthen client relationships through customer visits and proactive issue resolution.
- Improve workflow, equipment layout, and fleet control in compliance with road safety standards.
