Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our operational processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, optimizing resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams to achieve organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years experience in operations management or within the construction industry in Canada.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be bilingual in French and English.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial analysis is advantageous.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity across all departments.
  • Monitor daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Lead, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance communication across the organization.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure optimal use of company assets.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance for the President’s review.
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address operational challenges effectively.
