Description Do you want to play an integral role in a dynamic organization? We are looking for an Operations Manager who wants to assist our organization. The right candidate will enjoy learning new tasks and taking on a variety of responsibilities while working in an up-beat, nonprofit environment. Reporting to the CFO, the Operations Manager will be responsible for fiscal leadership and HR compliance of our growing organization. The Operations Manager is an integral role responsible for assisting in the development of financial planning, monitoring and reporting. In addition, the incumbent will assist in the establishment and development of operational systems to promote a safe and health work environment for all of our employees. Supports organizational leadership by monitoring assigned department/program activities (e.g. purchase orders, office equipment, operations etc.) to ensure completion and compliance with established financial, legal and/or administrative requirements. Coordinates a variety of programs and/or activities for the purpose of ensuring availability of facilities and/or equipment and delivering services in conformance to established guidelines. Identifies, recommends and implements new processes, technologies, KPIs and systems to improve and streamline operations with an emphasis towards scalability Maintains a variety of computerized and manual records, files and department databases (e.g. information packets, rosters/listings, calendars, outstanding supply orders, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing reliable information and complying with organizational, state and federal requirements. Performs record keeping and general clerical functions to provide information in accordance with organizational, state, federal and/or administrative requirements. Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale. Collaborate with external IT vendors to assess technology needs, develop budgetary plans, and implement new systems or updates. Partner with HR to support compliance, personnel development, background checks, new hire orientation, workers compensation and staff engagement initiatives. Act as a liaison between operational departments and organizational leadership to facilitate alignment and decision-making. Track operational requests, workflows, and deadlines using Smartsheet or similar systems. Assist with physical mail processing and perform mobile check deposits. Other duties as assigned.
