Description
We’re seeking an Operations Manager who is collaborative, people-focused, and motivated to support teams across our HVAC Service, Install, Plumbing, and Sales departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, continuous learning, and helping others grow. You will guide department leaders, strengthen processes, and ensure our teams deliver excellent service to our customers. What You’ll Do • Support, mentor, and partner with Service, Install, Plumbing, and Sales Managers to create alignment, teamwork, and clear communication across departments. • Help set and track departmental goals, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs), focusing on continuous improvement rather than perfection. • Promote accountability through supportive coaching and constructive feedback so teams can reach revenue, productivity, and customer experience targets. • Work closely with managers to encourage consistent communication, employee engagement, and professional growth among field staff. • Champion training and development programs that help employees strengthen technical expertise, communication skills, and service excellence. • Ensure company processes and policies are applied consistently and fairly across all teams. • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and customer experience. • Monitor and improve performance metrics including: Revenue production Conversion rates Average ticket Return call percentage Tech-Generated Lead % (TGL%) Gross margin Labor and material percentages Culture, engagement, and retention goals • Support the evaluation and implementation of new tools or technologies that enhance processes and empower team success. We value potential and a willingness to learn. • 3+ years of experience leading teams in HVAC, Plumbing, or Home Services — or relevant experience managing operational teams in a fast-paced environment. • Experience guiding employees, coaching performance, and supporting diverse teams. • Understanding of operational metrics, budgeting, and business performance goals. • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust, motivate others, and create an inclusive environment. • Organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar software is a plus — we are happy to train the right candidate.
