JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Contractor to oversee and manage underground utility, electrical, data center, and fiber construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, excellent project management skills, an active Florida license, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

SKILLS

  • Active Florida General ContractorUnderground Utility or Electrical License
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques for accurate budgeting.
  • Experience in electrical systems installation or repair is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on-site as required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Oversee the work of subcontractors and laborers on-site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Oversee construction estimating and budgeting processes to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including estimating costs for materials and labor.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
  • Ensure proper use of tools and equipment on-site including power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients regarding project status, changes in scope, or delays.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations throughout the construction process.
