Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize all facets of our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will oversee plant operations, manage production teams, implement lean manufacturing principles, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or related Field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations or related leadership role is required.
  • Extensive experience with lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, including but not limited to budgeting, cost management, and resource planning.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities with a proven track record of managing large teams and complex manufacturing environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, equipment, and industry best practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of operational processes, logistics, and quality control.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management software).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Drive operational efficiency by designing, implementing, and optimizing workflows and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality within the manufacturing process.
  • Oversee inventory, supply chain coordination, and resource allocation to meet company objectives.
  • Manage the manufacturing budget while identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize production schedules to meet customer demand while maintaining inventory.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as throughput, yield, quality, downtime, and waste reduction.
  • Manage cross-departmental collaboration to ensure execution of projects, quality standards, and production processes.
  • Monitor performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Six Sigma, 5S) to optimize efficiency and improve operations.
  • Lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Oversee workforce planning, including staffing, training, and employee development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align operational strategies with business goals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating innovative practices to keep the company competitive.
  • Actively supports all Standard Technology activities, i.e. failure analysis etc.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and requirements.
