We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to become the central hub of our brokerage. This person will be a critical, collaborative partner to the CEO, taking true ownership of the business’s operational health and playing a key role in driving growth. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver who excels at creating systems, managing complex projects, and thrives in a dynamic environment where they are empowered to make a significant impact.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience in an operations management role, with a proven track record of building and scaling systems. Experience in real estate or a fast-paced tech startup is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic partner to leadership, translating business goals into actionable operational plans.
  • High proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Follow Up Boss, Salesforce) and project management tools.
  • A proactive, “owner’s mindset” with exceptional problem-solving skills; you don’t just complete tasks, you identify and solve root-cause issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, from agents to developers.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is an asset.
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the entire operational ecosystem of the brokerage. You will own and refine the systems that support our agents, manage the technology that powers our business, and drive key projects from concept to completion. This is a leadership role for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, takes initiative, and is passionate about building scalable, efficient processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSTRATEGIC & OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP

  • Act as the primary operational leader, taking initiative to oversee all day-to-day functions of the brokerage and ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead the development and implementation of brokerage SOPs and policies to enhance efficiency and agent performance.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to set, align, and track team KPIs.
  • Analyze and implement strategies to maximize lead conversion and revenue from Strata.ca.
  • Lead and manage key brokerage projects and initiatives, from the rollout of new agent benefits to the launch of major company-wide programs.
  • Serve as a strategic gatekeeper to the CEO, independently managing day-to-day operations to ensure leadership can focus on high-priority business objectives.
  • Build and manage operational support with the option to delegate tasks and hire contractors, with the autonomy to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • (Occasionally) assist with hiring for roles as needed, including posting, screening, and initial interviews.
