JOB SUMMARY:

To lead and manage the company’s operation within a defined scope, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with company objectives to maximize customer value and company returns on investment. This role involves overseeing Operations Supervisors and ensuring the smooth execution of services while upholding quality standards and fostering a positive work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College/Technical degree or related field.
  • Significant experience in operations management, with a proven track record of leadership and achieving results.
  • Previous experience managing supervisors and leading teams.
  • A strong understanding of the landscaping, snow removal, or related industry (inferred from the other roles).
  • Ability to handle stress and deadlines well.
  • Recognized as a team leader with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Fluent knowledge of Windows-based computers and ability to learn & optimize new software platforms..
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve operational processes.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (inferred from the other roles).
  • Valid passport, able to travel to the USA.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles related to operations
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all daily operations of the company.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures in accordance with company objectives.
  • Manage and lead Operations Supervisors and potentially other operational staff, which may fluctuate according to business needs. Ensure proper delegation of responsibilities.
  • Be responsible for the overall performance and efficiency of the operations department.
  • Monitor and control budgets and schedules related to various contracts and operational activities.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of services according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Maintain standards and ensure quality across all operational activities.
  • Implement procedures and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a cohesive team of Operations staff to ensure quick response for client expectations and quality production.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as Account Management and Business Development, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in the review of contracts and year-end reviews.
  • Understand your own metrics and how they contribute to achieving personal and company annual objectives.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
  • Ensure that the rights of employees are considered in all operational decisions.
