Description Warehouse Operations Manager Description Reports to: Director of Warehousing Reporting Staff: Warehouse Supervisors, Inventory Control Specialist, Order Control Specialist, Custodian Alternate in Case of Absence: Warehouse Supervisors Responsibilities Direct and oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Develop and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Create and maintain positive relationships with customers while addressing operational concerns and service requests. Lead, coach, hire, train, and develop warehouse personnel to build a safe, productive, and engaged workforce. Monitor labor productivity and ensure staffing levels meet operational needs. Support and ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality programs. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate inventory through audits, cycle counts, and inventory control procedures. Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of products and equipment. Audit aisle cleaning, custodian cleaning, and weekly product inspections, including damage and infestation logs. Assist in maintaining the security of the facility, employees, equipment, and customer product. Monitor warehouse performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Desired Background: Bachelor's degree or five (5) or more years of warehouse management experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Experience leading warehouse supervisors and hourly employees. Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills. Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience hiring, coaching, and developing employees. Ability to promote a positive, productive, and safety-focused work environment.
