QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in warehouse or operations management may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
    The successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and must have contactable work references.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE…

We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Operations Manager to manage the overall performance of our Warehouse and Paintline operations in Sydney.
This role will be critical in ensuring that all activities are planned and organised effectively while fostering a strong leadership approach to managing employees.
The Operations Manager will work in alignment with Alspec’s vision, goals, and operational standards to ensure optimal efficiency and continuous improvement within the warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Champion Alspec’s R.E.S.P.E.C.T values
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise warehouse operations and improve performance.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.
  • Oversee the planning and organisation of warehouse activities, including Paintline, inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
  • Ensure all operations are aligned with Alspec’s procedures, policies, and operational standards.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure productivity and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for warehouse safety and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration between warehouse and broader business functions.
  • Report regularly on operational performance and areas for improvement to senior management.
