Description:

The role is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, implementing and evaluation of all strategic areas related to finance and property for larger MU(s) or facility.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of a formal college/university degree program of 3 academic years in a related field (e.g., Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, General Management, Property Management, etc.).
  • NOTE: An alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLED KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five years of related experience including three years of prior related experience in the Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, Property Management, or other related field including experience in a supervisory/managerial role.

  • Willingness to develop an understanding and support for the mission and purpose of The Salvation Army in Canada and its implications as related to position responsibilities.
